Front Desk Volunteers Needed
Would you consider becoming a front desk volunteer?
The Center is open M-F 10-3, with 2.5 hour shifts in the morning or afternoon. Call the BASCO office 608-356-8464 for more information to volunteer your time.

BOOK CLEANING !!
Book cleaning has been occurring for several months now with several folks on the list. You will note that book cleaning is always on 3rd Tuesday of the month. If you find yourself having some time free, please join the group. The more, the merrier, and the faster it is finished.
The number of books we receive each month is unknown. The books are usually discards from school, city, or personal libraries. There have also been some new books. They include hardcovers and paperbacks with almost any subject matter for children to adults.
The process is quite easy and will get you some arm and shoulder exercise as the books are wiped down with a sanitizer. They are also then stamped with a notice to the reader that the books are free.
“This book is a gift to you, donated by this community and the Baraboo Area Literacy Council. We hope you will always enjoy reading and pass this book on to another reader.“

Inclement Weather Policy
BASCO bases its closing on the school district. When Baraboo Schools are closed, BASCO will be closed.
